Quality Management Systems ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the products and services an organisation supplies. It prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met. It is designed and intended to apply to virtually any product or service, made by any process anywhere in the world.

Health & Safety

We are committed to providing a safe working environment and so prevent injury and ill health to those at work and those affected by work activities.

As well as the need to adhere to the Health and Safety legislation, we believe that it is a fundamental requirement for all small businesses to ensure the safety of their employees and clients. Effective Health & Safety performance comes from the top of any organisation, and we ensure that our systematic approach to controlling risk, reducing cost and so maintaining our reputation is paramount in everything we do.

CSCS Gold Certification

CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. CSCS cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by Contractors. As part of our commitment to quality and safety we impose a 100% certification policy to all on site employees.

In fulfilling our responsibilities to the environment, we actively promote best practice amongst our employees, customers and suppliers. ISO14001 is an internationally accepted standard that sets out how to introduce an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). The standard is designed to address the delicate balance between maintaining profitability and reducing environmental impact.

Link-up approval

Link-up is the UK rail industry supplier qualification scheme, providing a single common registration, qualification and audit process for suppliers that are shared by the UK rail industry.

Link-up Proof via Audit

Proof is the UK rail industry audit scheme for suppliers of safety critical products and services that have achieved successful qualification through Link-up. Proof enables suppliers to go through a single audit process that has been designed and agreed by multiple rail organisations.
Proof is used by Link-up subscribers to assist compliance with Railway Group Standard GM/RT 2450, the standard for procurement of safety-critical products and services and on-going ‘surveillance’ of suppliers.

Gaining Proof qualification via audit is an achievement of which any business should be proud, and one that enables Link-up suppliers to display the Proof qualification stamp.
