  • GTL Partnership named as finalists for prestigious award...
    GTL Partnership have been named as finalists for the Gatwick Diamond Business Award for Export.  The award, sponsored by UK Trade and Investment is given to the company that demonstrates their ability to be innovative and successful in exporting and international trade.  In the last 2 years GTL have increased their overseas turnover ten fold and are anticipating continued growth through 2010.

    On the 4th March 2010 GTL will discover if they are to be the winners of this coveted award, the ceremony is to take place at the Gatwick Hilton, hosted by Nick Hewer from the BBC's TV The Apprentice.

    Chairman of the judges, Jeremy Taylor said “Recognising and rewarding business innovation and success is at the heart of these awards. The aim is to raise awareness of entrepreneurship and business excellence and to help showcase business talent in the Gatwick Diamond region.”

    GTL Partnership MD, Gavin Rixon said, "We are delighted to be one of the three finalists for this years award.  Exporting our services and technology has proved to be both exciting and extremely challenging at times.  We put our success down to our superior product knowledge and the engineering expertise of our employees.  Being a finalist for this award represents a fitting testimony to the commitment shown by our staff and will provide a stable platform for future international development”

  • GTL Partnership award design contract for Aluminium Access Gantries and Walkways for Kings Cross Station Roof Refurbishment...
    GTL have been appointment by Aluminium Structures (work platforms) Ltd to carry out the design of the replacement walkway and moving gantries for the new Kings Cross Station roof. GTL have designed the 8 no 100 m long walkways 14 movable gantries running the length of the existing roof.

    The design takes into account the complex issues related to moveable gantries and the affects of deflections and movements on the clear running of the gantries.  Full scale mockups of the structure are being built to test the robustness of the system under various loading and services conditions.
